A Systematic Approach to Exercise
The Ranch started as a strength-centric personal training studio, and now we've expanded into a 24/7 gym that's still focused on getting its members strong. The current data suggests that strength is the foundation of every goal, something that cannot be said about other pillars of fitness. As such, strength is the main focus with most clients. We start new exercisers with a manageable amount of work and intensity to get them accustomed to strength training. This mitigates the risk for early injury, while setting up for long term success. We then use a systematic approach to sift out what each client specifically responds best to.

Without “The Ranch” I would be 20 pounds overweight, depressed, unmotivated, and trying more on again off again diets. In February 2019, I got a message from Max and Mara checking in to see what I was up to. Funny because the same week I had decided “enough is enough.” I stepped on the scale and was the heaviest I have ever been. I met with them intending to work out on Monday’s with the group workout and focus in on nutrition. About a month into working out in group workouts I started to add another day a week for one-on one.
Fast forward to today, I train with Max usually twice a week and Mara once a week and have become a motivated powerlifter. Growing up on a farm I was used to lifting things, but my current day stress relief and only personal time for myself is lifting and I love it! Without the push and guidance from Max and Mara I would not have TRANSFORMED my body and mindset. I cannot thank them enough for having faith in me, holding me accountable and believing in me when I didn’t! Thank you, and I would 100% recommend and challenge anyone to work with them for a month… you too will be hooked!
