A bigger space means bigger opportunities. One of those is physical therapy, which is now offered at The Ranch Training Center!
What is Physical Therapy, you ask? Merriam Webster defines it as "therapy for the preservation, enhancement, or restoration of movement and physical function impaired or threatened by disease, injury, or disability...(utilizing) therapeutic exercise, physical modalities (such as massage and electrotherapy), assistive devices, and patient education." Or, in other words, physical therapy can help nearly any disease, injury, or issue you might have.
So how will it work? Thanks to our friends at Optimal Physical Therapy (based in Lake Mills, WI), we were able to set up a satellite outpatient physical therapy clinic right here in Marshall. The physical therapy services at The Ranch will be managed by Mara Martin, who is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (as well as our gym manager and personal trainer).
As a PTA, Mara is able to provide physical therapy services AFTER an evaluation is performed by a supervising physical therapist. What does that mean for you? Though you do not need a doctor's referral in the state of Wisconsin to partake in physical therapy, your condition will still need to be evaluated by one of our physical therapists at Optimal Physical Therapy in Lake Mills. After the initial evaluation (when appropriate and as determined by your physical therapist), you may continue your physical therapy treatment right here in Marshall with Mara! She will be in continuous communication with your physical therapist regarding your progress along the way. Here at The Ranch we will have a private office area, plenty of physical therapy tools, and 3200 square feet of gym space to utilize for your treatment.
